
Louisiana Residents Share Adorable Photos of Pets Enjoying Rare Snowstorm
For days, forecasters were making their estimates of what Louisiana's snowfall would be, and we have seen several inches fall today, much to the delight of everyone, including our pets.
As you might imagine, the snowfall was too cold for some pets, including my own, but for others, it was a day to frolic in the flakes. We have received hundreds of photos and videos of our magnificent pets enjoying the snow.
According to Daily Paws, some dogs love the snow because it changes the landscape, they love to throw it around and to roll in it. Amelia Wieber with Caring Behavior, and a Daily Paws Advisory Board member,
Snow likely has its own scent to dogs, and it may cover or enhance different scents whether they were laid before, during, or after the snow. Snow also gives dogs a new layer to dig through to find hiding critters and covered goodies.....
