What's wrong with the above photo? A black truck, driving in the rain, with no lights.  Acadiana's had a lot of rain lately. I was recently driving down West Congress St. in Lafayette. It was raining, dark & gray. I glanced in my rear view mirror while passing Lafayette High School, and saw a black SUV, following more closely than I cared for, with NO LIGHTS ON! That's a pet peeve. While at work, I was watching traffic pass outside the station on Bertrand Drive. Many of them had no lights. I don't understand the thought (or lack thereof) behind this. Does it not make sense to make yourself easier for other drivers to see? That question's actually a moot point. Common sense, or no, Louisiana law requires your lights to be on if your wipers are.
