What’s The Next iphone? How Much Will It Cost?

2017 is the 10th anniversary of the iphone. I've owned 4 of them, a 3GS, 4S, 6, and now a 7. As the technology has advanced, they've also gotten considerably more expensive, and wireless providers have stopped subsidizing device purchases. I paid cash up front for the first 2. I bought my iphone 6 & 7 on the ATT&T installment plan. My 128 GB iphone 7 was somewhere in the neighborhood of $700. Speculation is rampant about what's next. Will it be the 7S, iphone 8, or commemorative iphone 10? Apple is the dominant manufacturer in the smartphone market, and has surpassed Coca - Cola as the world's most valuable brand. The Business Insider reports the new device could be priced as high as $1,000. Some analyst fear that price could scare a lot of customers off. Others tout the segment that's eagerly anticipating a dramatic advance in smartphone technology. One analysts says Apple needs to be careful not to make the next iphone "too good." Would you shell out $1,000 for a new phone? It looks like I'll be keeping mine for 2 more years.
