What Color is This Dress? Again!

My friend's daughter made her First Communion over the weekend. Her family shared some beautiful photos of her in her beautiful dress. When I first saw it, I wondered when little girls started wearing purple dresses for special occasions like this. Turns out, her dress wasn't purple at all. It was white! When standing outside in the shade, the light makes it look very different! Here's one possible explanation.
