Walmart and Sam's Club have announced you now have to be 21 years of age or older to buy cigarettes and other tobacco products in their stores nationwide.

Not only does the new minimum age apply to traditional tobacco products, but Walmart officials say this also applies to all e-cigarettes.

Knoe.com reports that Walmart has also discontinued "the sale of fruit-and-dessert-flavored electronic nicotine delivery systems."

Walmart and Sam's Club are taking these steps to do their part in keeping tobacco out of the hands of minors.
