Ville Platte Police Need Help In Locating Man Suffering From Dementia

Amos Jones went missing on December 22nd.

The Ville Platte Police Department is searching for 56-year-old Amos Jones. Family members say he was last seen at his residence in the 100 block of Demourelle Street around 1:00 p.m on December 22, 2017.

Jones suffers from dementia and has trouble walking on his own. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans. Jones is described as about 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. Ville Platte PD asks that anyone with information on Jones' whereabouts call them at 363-1313.
