Ville Platte Dixie Youth All Star Team in World Series

There is another team in Acadiana that is in a youth baseball world series.  The Ville Platte, 11-12 yr old Dixie Youth All Star Team are the Louisiana State Champions and are representing Louisiana in the Dixie Youth World Series in North Carolina.  They beat North Carolina Tuesday night for their third win and are undefeated and play tonight (8/17/11) in a semi final round game against the Georgia All Star team.
