UL Homecoming Week is packed with events for the entire family! UL Lafayette, the University Program Council and the UL Alumni Association will host events all week long, in hopes to get the community involved and spirits high! The events have already kicked off on Sunday and every day this week there will be something HOT! They couldn't have picked a more perfect theme to get the fans involved, "Embrace The Culture"! If you haven't been able to participate yet, it's not too late to show some spirit before the game on Saturday! The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will take on Texas State Bobcats at Cajun Field, Saturday, November 2nd.
One of my favorite traditions is Paint The Town Red, both businesses and schools! I've judged it for years in the past and had an absolute blast! I have no doubt JayCee will enjoy judging this year! ! It's a way to give our locals a platform to show off their talents, creativity, and of course, SPIRIT!
