Lafayette Police Officers say they seized drugs with a total DEA street value of $118,580 Tuesday night during a traffic stop.

In a press release, Lafayette Police Department spokesman Sgt. Wayne Griffin says the following narcotics were seized:

  • 1008 tablets of MDMA
  • 4,598 tablets of oxycodone
  • 2,392 tables of Lortab
  • 304 tablets of Xanax

Griffin says the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending as this is part of the department's Tactical Narcotics Team's efforts to crack down on illegal drug activity in the City of Lafayette.
