Tornado Forms In Parking Lot Of Lafayette Business [VIDEO]

A brief but powerful tornado formed in the parking lot of a Lafayette auto store on Ashy Road, tossing a car before dissipating.

KMDL received footage of a small tornado forming in the parking lot of Auto Xtreme Collision Center on Ashy Road off Verot School. A surveillance camera recorded the tornado around 7 a.m. on Sunday. The tornado appeared to cause some structural damage before flipping a car and dissipating.
