This Animated Graph Shows the Dramatic Increase in COVID Deaths

I stumbled across this animated (active? moving?) graph from Public Flourish Studio that dramatically shows how quickly the coronavirus death toll increased.

The graph begins moving from January 1, 2020 (0 deaths), up through today (over 345,000 deaths).

We've been watching the daily updates, but this kind of graph really puts into perspective the immensity of the toll the virus is taking.

I've seen the posts of "You Do You, I'll Do Me" for those who don't want to wear masks and, I must say, if this graph doesn't change their minds, maybe losing a close loved one will. Let's just hope it doesn't get to that point.
