"Elvis" movie mania is everywhere. Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" opens nationwide this Friday (June 24) and CJ and Ellen in the Morning want you "in the building".

No artist in the history of music and film was and has remained bigger or more successful than Elvis Aaron Presley. The biggest selling recording artist of all time, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world (Graceland) and 45 years after his death a box office hit about his life, career and struggles.

Austin Butler is Elvis in the upcoming feature film "Elvis" which also stars Tom Hanks as Elvis' controversial manager Tom Parker, Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, Helen Thomson as Elvis' mother Gladys Presley and Josh McConville as Memphis music producer Sam Phillips.

The movie is said to have captured the essence of Elvis Presley like no other. This is the first movie that addresses Elvis' drug addiction which ultimately took his life on August 16, 1977, when he was found lifeless on the floor of his upstairs bathroom in his Graceland mansion in Memphis on the day he was to start a concert tour.

Butler prepared vigorously for this movie, taking music coaching 7 days a week before filming and watching countless hours of Elvis videos in order to recreate Presley's unique concert style with accuracy. Even Elvis' way of speaking was challenging to learn.

An Amazing Performance of "Can't Help Falling in Love"

Tom Hanks' performance as Col. Tom Parker has been labeled, "accurate" by those who knew him.

Priscilla Presley and Elvis' daughter Lisa Marie Presley have both given their stamp of approval to the movie. Critics are calling "Elvis" a "musical feast".

Audiences who have screened the movie prior to its release applauded the concert scenes as though they were actually in an arena during an Elvis concert, almost forgetting it's a movie.

You can see the movie at the Grand 14 Ambassador, any showing, anytime with The Grand Backstage Passes that you can win by listening to CJ and Ellen in the Morning all this week on 99.9 KTDY.
