Technology Is Making Us Stupid [opinion]

We're dumbing down. People have become so dependent upon technology, we can't do simple things that were once standard procedure in daily life. A recent poll indicates 13% of us can't remember our own phone number! We're forgetting not only phone numbers, but usernames, passwords, and addresses. We don't recall things from memory anymore. We Google them. Millennials, in particular, are terrible spellers. Handwriting skills are virtually a thing of the past. Elephants can remember as many as 30 relatives for more than 20 years. Do you know your spouse's birthday? Donkeys can remember places they've been for up to 25 years. Does this mean we're a society of dumbasses?...
