There is always a surprise or two for Washington Mardi Gras and probably the highlight this year was an appearance by the LSU Tigers Marching Band, better known as The Golden Band from Tigerland.
The ball featured movies including "It", Forrest Gump", "Hairspray", Beetlejuice", "Steel Magnolias", Star Wars and Trek, Spiderman, Mary Poppins and more.
