Louisiana customers of Chick-fil-A should get their fair share of a $4.4 million dollar class action suit over misleading delivery pricing and practices.
This mom is hugging her kids a little tighter after a scary situation unfolded in the drive-thru line at Chick-fil-A on the way to the grocery store. Little did she know that this stop would save her child's life. Liliana Leahy recalls that her daughter Theia started making "a weird choking sound" in the back seat. It was then that she quickly sprung out of her vehicle in the drive-thru line and began to panic. Liliana admits that "she froze and panic set in" so she screamed for help.
The Chick-fil-A on Louisiana Avenue is undergoing substantial renovations aimed to bring it on par with its newer counterparts on Kaliste Saloom and Johnston Street at Ridge Road. Louisiana Senator Gerald Boudreaux discussed the upgrade in a recent Facebook post, referencing information initially reported by Developing Lafayette.
In an effort to get customers in and out of their drive-thru line, Chick-fil-A launched a new feature on their mobile app that has started rolling out to select locations across the country. Customers will now have the option when they place an order through the mobile app to pick up using the 'Mobile-Thru' express lane. Typically when you place an order on the app it prompts you to select drive-thru, carry-out, or dine-in. Now with the addition of the 'Mobile-Thru', customers will have a new, and hopefully quicker, pick-up option on the app.
The new menu item features pimento cheese and honey, and the usual pickles have been replaced by pickled jalapenos. It is currently available in Lafayette.
After almost 7 months of construction, Chick-FIl-A on the corner of Johnston Street & Ridge Road in Lafayette will have its Grand Opening on Thursday, August 3.
