Markell Gregois is from New Iberia. He's a passionate Saints fan, who's been fighting cancer for five years now. He's had four bouts, that have entailed multiple surgeries, amputations, and excruciating chemotherapy. Markell has been a guest of the Fox NFL studio team. When Terry Bradshaw told him the Colts would beat the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, Markell set him straight. He joined Commissioner Goodell onstage at the NFL draft in 2013 to announce the Saints' first round selection of Kenny Vaccaro. I'm sorry to report that Markell is back at St. Jude. It's not going well. He is one of 750 kids from Louisiana being treated there. The average cost of treatment for one cancer patient is $500,000. It costs 2 million dollars a day to operate the hospital, and no family EVER receives a bill. KTDY will participate in a radiothon this Thursday & Friday (March 5th & 6th) I'm asking you to help. Please become a partner in hope. You can call 1-800-372-4999 or click here.
