An Acadiana woman sent a plea to KATC TV3 for help in finding a wallet with huge sentimental value.

Ally Graham, sister-in-law to Mark Graham, a soldier who was killed in the line of duty while serving in the US Army in Iraq, posted the following on the KATC TV3 Facebook page:

My son had his wallet "go missing" Monday, in the Broussard area. A young man who works (and also jogs) on St. Etienne Rd, found his drivers license and boaters license on the side of the road. We walked every inch of St. Etienne Rd yesterday searching for the wallet. We found nearly EVERYTHING that was in the wallet (gift cards, movie tickets, cpr card, business cards) spread from Hwy 90 end of St. Etienne to the Ambassador Extension….all on the business side. These items are replaceable. The wallet is not….it was my deceased brother-in-laws that was handed down to my son. It means a whole lot to him. It is an old brown leather, checkbook size wallet that has large gold and black letters that spell out "MARK" on one side and the other has another sticker with a quote. Thanks to the two Broussard City workers who helped us search, as they worked along side the road! - Ally Graham

The missing wallet was Mark Graham's wallet, and it was given to his nephew as a keepsake after his death.  I can't imagine the heartbreak the family must be feeling.

If you have any information about the wallet, please get in touch with Ally Graham.  I know that the whole family would be grateful for any leads at all.
