Oak Trees Toppled To Make Way For Subdivision [PHOTOS]

I am so torn when it comes to progress, especially when I see beautiful oak trees toppled to make way for a subdivision.

In Youngsville, right near Copperfield subdivision, there was a homestead surrounded by a few oak trees.  The house was demolished last week sometime, and today, on my way home, I saw that they began to remove the oak trees.

I understand progress.  I understand entrepreneur-ism.  I understand capitalism.  I also understand conservationism.  I just wish that there were more times when all of them could work together.
