
Nuro’s R2 Driverless Robot Starts Delivering Domino’s in Houston this Week
Domino's Pizza in Houston, Texas will start delivering pizzas with Nuro's R2 robot. Nuro's R2 robot is a driverless car. Select customers in Houston will start getting driverless delivered pizzas this week.
Domino's is testing out its automated self-driving pizza delivery service in metropolitan Houston. Select customers ordering Domino's in H-Town will be given the option to have their pizza delivered by R2 an autonomous on-road delivery vehicle. R2 offers truly contactless pizza delivery. The R2 robot drives to the delivery address and asks for a pin number, it's that easy to retrieve your order.
If it works in Houston, the pizza giant will start rolling out the service in other cities across the U.S.
