Mardi Gras parades across Louisiana rolled before severe thunderstorms arrived on Mardi Gras Day, and the New Orleans Police Superintendent had a message for those attending parades in her city.

Much of the south was anticipating strong winds on Fat Tuesday as a line of storms moved through the region, thus, many cities hosting Mardi Gras festivities prepared in advance, and that included anchoring things down and removing any potential projectiles.

With that said, the city of New Orleans decided to pick up many, if not all, of the porta potties throughout the city for parades. Yes, we can make the joke that there "Ain't Nowhere to Pee on Mardi Gras Day", and that would suffice.

So, Superintendent Kirkpatrick had this to say to those who would brave the winds and storms on Mardi Gras Day. She told paradegoers that they should pee before attending parades because there may not be many public facilities along the parade routes..

If you don't believe that she said it, well, check this out.

Since we're talking about New Orleans Mardi Gras parades, for some reason, paradegoers in the Cresent City booed a Tesla SUV as it rolled through the streets. Here it is.

Then there was this float in a parade that got tangled in a tree and traffic light. The wind wasn't the only thing in "the way" for this Mardi Gras Day in New Orleans. Here, they are trying to free the float so that the parade could resume.
