Mother Thanks LSU Football Player for Assisting Her On Side of Road
(KTDY) - A mother went to social media to thank an LSU football player who assisted her with her flat tire on the side of the road.
Cayla Crosby Abad posted her situation on social media after she had a flat tire after picking her kids up for the day. According to her social media post, which LSU Football has now shared on its social media page, Crosby was on the side of a dangerous roadway when she attempted to change the flat tire by herself.
Struggling to remove the flat tire from her vehicle, she, along with her kids, was scared, and that is when a stranger pulled up to assist her. That person was Tamarcus Cooley, who plays for the LSU Tigers.
Cooley, who just left practice, was able to remove the flat tire from the vehicle and replace it with her spare tire so that she and her kids could go on their way. He told Cayla that he saw her on the side of the road while on the phone with his mother, and he did what he hoped anyone else would do if that were his mom on the side of the road.
Cayla says that her kids were frightened after having the blowout on the road, but their excitement quickly changed once they found out that an LSU football player was the one who stopped to "fix the car."
We love this story so much, and we applaud this great young man for doing what he did for this mother on the side of the road.

One thing is sure after all of this, Tamarcus Cooley will have a few more fans cheering for him this year when he takes the field with his team in 2025. What a great young man.
