Mitchell Guist of TV’s ‘Swamp People’ Has Died

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has confirmed that 'Swamp People' cast member Mitchell Guist has died. Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that Guist was loading something onto a boat on Belle River when he slipped and fell. We'll have more information on this story as it becomes available. Guist was in Lafayette last summer for the LA Outdoor Expo.
