Mayor-President Guillory Announces Several New Measures Due To COVID-19 Spike In Lafayette Parish
As coronavirus numbers continue to rise, Lafayette Parish Mayor-President Josh Guillory has implemented new measures to combat the recent spike.
Guillory announced the new restrictions in an afternoon video address and said the measures and closures would be "effective immediately."
Lafayette Consolidated Government also listed all the measures and restrictions on their official Facebook page.
Earlier this week, Governor John Bel Edwards said that due to restrictions we wouldn't be moving into Phase 3 for at least 28 days, but plans on monitoring and evaluating data and cases as we embark on these next few weeks.
