Oh, Lululemon lovers, have we have great news for you. According to Developing Lafayette, Lululemon Athletica will be opening a new ‘seasonal’ pop-up retail store in Lafayette. The athletic apparel company will be opening at 500 Settlers Trace Blvd where The Dailey Method was formerly located.

Many people think Lululemon is just fancy yoga pants, but it is a whole lot more.  According to the Lululemon website, the brand has a desire to innovate technical athletic gear. Their vision is to create a community hub where people could learn and discuss the physical aspects of healthy living, mindfulness, and living a life of possibility. Their first designs were made for women to wear during yoga. After much feedback, they now design products for yoga, running, cycling, and training. Their designers are athletes and sweat-minded people.

What is a pop-up store? It basically means it’s seasonal and a shorter lease. The strategy of a pop-up store is to test new markets as well as take advantage of high foot traffic in key regions. If the pop-up store does well in Lafayette, they could possibly make it a regular location.

An opening date should be announced soon according to Developing Lafayette. To keep up to date with the Lafayette location, follow the local facebook page.
