LSU Fan Celebrating Victory Gets Choked by Clemson Fan
(KTDY) - College football is back, and that means some fans will always take things too far, and one LSU fan learned that the hard way.
LSU took on Clemson in a marquee matchup over the Labor Day weekend, and the hype surrounding this game was very high, including amongst fans.
The good news is that LSU defeated Clemson Saturday night. However, the bad news is that one LSU fan celebrated too hard and learned that you should always win with class.
As you'll see below, just as LSU secured the victory Saturday night, a young man thought it would be a great idea to "flip off" a Clemson fan. When he did, the man grabbed him by the throat and put him up against a wall in the stands.
We don't know what happened after the man put the LSU fan in a chokehold, but you can see other fans quickly rush over to intervene.
Sadly, we're seeing more and more of this type of behavior at sporting events, and I'm baffled by why some fans act this way. Sports are entertainment, yet some fans take things way too far and way too seriously.
Win with class, and lose with class, it's NOT that difficult. We hope that this LSU fan learned a lesson and that he, along with others, never resorts to this type of immature behavior again. There's no need for this at sporting events.
LSU's first home game of the 2025 season is this weekend in Baton Rouge as the Tigers host Louisiana Tech in "Death Valley."
