(Lafayette, Louisiana) - Football season is almost here, and fans will soon be running to their favorite sports bars in Acadiana, so we asked: Where can fans find the coldest draft beer?

There are so many great local restaurants and sports bars that serve up not only delicious food but cold beer as well, so we asked listeners on social media: Who truly has the coldest draft beer in our area?

Football fans are passionate about several things, and one is finding a great place to watch a game, but that comes with a few requirements. I have friends who insist that we watch games at certain places because of their television setup, and yes, the selection of beers.

So, let's take a look at where some of you said the coldest beer in Acadiana is.

Personally, I've been to all of the locations, and I can attest that the draft beer is VERY COLD.

Like all of the previous locations mentioned here, they too have great food and a friendly atmosphere.

Before we wrap up this conversation, I need to note that some said Twin Peaks in Lafayette had the absolute coldest draft beer in the city, but that brand has since moved on and is no longer open.

However, a new restaurant is in that building now, on Johnston St. in Lafayette, and one listener told us that they still have the system set up from the previous owners. If so, that means Pierre's has really cold draft beer, so it may be worth a visit in the coming days or weeks.
