According to KLFY TV10, a Louisiana man is dead following a drowning incident in Florida.

The report says that the incident occurred at Miramar Beach on April 8th,  where authorities say 2 bodies were pulled from the water.

One of the victims was a 55-year-old man from Georgia, and the other was a 21-year-old man from Gray, Louisiana.

The local sheriff mentioned that red flags were flying along the beaches, indicating dangerous/hazardous conditions in the water, and he begged visitors to heed the warnings.

Florida ranks 6th in the country in unintentional drowning deaths, right behind Louisiana, which came in at 5th, according to the latest Florida Health Department data.
