According to the New York Times, the Justice Department announced that 50 people have been charged in a college admissions scandal

Those charged include actresses Felicity Huffman (wife of actor husband, William Macy) and actress Lori Loughlin (and her husband), along with other wealthy parents and individuals who facilitated the scandal.

The charges stemmed from cheating on test scores, falsifying records, racketeering, and bribery, according to the story.

William Singer, the man at the center of the scandal and who, authorities say, masterminded the whole thing, has already pleaded guilty.

Reports say that some parents paid upwards of $1.2 million to get their child into an Ivy League school.
