The devastation from Hurricane Harvey in southern Texas is reminiscent of Katrina in many ways.  However, this event is bigger according to the National Weather Service.  With most of the city underwater, cleanup will take years.

The National Weather Service says of Hurricane Harvey, “This event is unprecedented and all impacts are unknown and beyond anything experienced,”

Homemade videos of the devastation and flooding are everywhere.  For those who don't live in Houston, all you see in these videos is muddy water and maybe a rooftop.  In these videos that appear in the Huffington Post, locals narrate, giving the world a different perspective as to what's under the water.  The pictures in this story are equally chilling.
