Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana produced a video to be released on the one year anniversary of the devastating flooding in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Due to the recent situation in Houston due to hurricane Harvey, Dr. Chris Maggio, President of Northwestern State University and staff decided to release this video now.

The video is entitled 'They'll never Wash Us Away' and features a moving rendition of 'Louisiana 1927' and more.  The video was produced by Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs.  It features legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and Elvis Presley guitarist James Burton, Grammy award winner Jo-El Sonnier and Estelle Brown of The Sweet Inspirations who opened most of Elvis Presley's shows from the late 60's till his death in 1977.
