A Lafayette woman is warning the public after she says someone she describes as "evil" driving a white van chased her, possibly pointed a gun, and then tried to hit her.

Meghan Romero tells KLFY that after an "80 mile an hour chase on Ambassador Caffery" men in a white van with no license plate pointed what she and her cousin say could have been a gun, and then tried to ram her vehicle which sent Romero's car spinning into oncoming traffic.

Romero tells KLFY -

“Right before we pull up a van like creeps out of Ambassador Wine and Spirits and takes up both lanes. He was evil. He was out to hurt us. There was no doubt."

She says it all started at Dulles and Ambassador Caffery when the van pulled onto Ambassador and took up two lanes. Romero says she waited for the van to proceed, and when it didn't she honked. At that point, she says the van moved over and gave her room to pass.

This lead to the van tailgating her and chasing her with speeds up to 80mph according to Romero.

A witness, Devinn Jagneaux tells KLFY -

“After I saw the van coming up too right behind her, I didn’t know what to think, and whenever I saw him try to hit her, and then she spun out right on Bertrand."

Below is Romero's Facebook post about the incident. Read more on this story over at KLFY.com.
