Lafayette Student Receives Over 100 College Acceptance Letters

Normandie Cormier is making headlines.

Normandie Cormier is a student at Early College Academy in Lafayette. She's received a whopping 139 college acceptance letters. Five are from medical schools, and she's been offered full scholarships to 17 schools and $8.7 million in scholarship funds. The acceptance letters keep coming in even now.

In her interview with KATC,  Normandie talks about her plans and how her mother inspired her hard work. Normandie says all she was hoping to get was a full ride to one college and is humbled by all the opportunities that have come her way.
