Lafayette Pastor Recommended For Executive Position

Steve Horn is well known in South Louisiana for his role as pastor of Lafayette's First Baptist Church. According to reports, Horn could be in line for the Executive Director's job for the Louisiana Baptist Convention.

According to a statement from the Louisiana Baptist Message, Horn will be recommended for that position in a meeting scheduled for Thursday (April 11). Should Horn be confirmed by the Executive Board Administrative Committee, his nomination will then go before the Executive Board of the Louisiana Baptist Convention in May.

Should Pastor Horn be confirmed in that role following the May 7th meeting he will then succeed outgoing Executive Director David Hankins, who plans to retire at the end of June.
