If you're looking to take an adventure this summer, the Lafayette Public Library has programs for you.

The library will be offering a summer safari for children. It's aimed at getting kids into the library system's different branches. The library will also hold a reading program for children and adults in which participants can earn prizes by reading 600 hours or more between June 1 and July 30. What's more: The library will also host other events--including its Lego Club programs, book clubs, makerspace days, and more--that are designed to help people "find their tales."

Keith Guidry, the Lafayette Public Library's public relations director, joined Bernie and Ian to discuss these programs in depth, the importance if childhood literacy, and what all library patrons can find when they visit one of the library system's branches.
