Lafayette Animal Aid Offering New Weekend Foster Program

Lafayette Animal Aid is now offering a program that is perfect if you want to be a part time adoptive parent to a pet. Their weekend adoption program is ideal for folks who want to give pets some loving care, but don't necessarily want the long term commitment. Their official Facebook page says "This program allows you to take a dog home for a 2-3 night sleepover between Friday-Monday for a fun weekend getaway!"

The new program is for pets who might not have a forever home in their near future, or  are stressed or not performing well at the shelter. Just think of it as a vacation for some pets who really need a break. And who could blame them.
