Kathleen Blanco Will Deliver UL Fall Commencement Speech Friday

Former Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco will deliver UL's Fall commencement speech this Friday despite recently announcing a renewed battle with cancer.
Kathleen Blanco announced this week that she is 'fighting for her life' against the melanoma which once afflicted her eye and has now spread to her liver. Blanco will deliver the commencement speech to this year's UL Lafayette graduates on Friday despite news of her illness.
