The Holden, Louisiana property of actor and director John Schneider has been sold at auction. And the Baton Rouge businessman who purchased it for $385,000 might be willing to work something out with the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star, so that he can still use his studios on the property.

Paul Ferachi purchased the 52 acre studio and surrounding property yesterday from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Sale. It was seized about two months ago after Schneider defaulted on a $242,000 mortgage from First Guaranty Bank of Hammond.

According to the Livingston Parish News 'Ferachi said he had not purchased the property because of the film studio, but neither him or Schneider ruled out the possibility of keeping it in operation on the 52-acre lot.' Read more about the sale yesterday here.
