Louisiana Looking for Missing 10-Year-Old Child

UPDATE: The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office reports that the child has been found safe.

A child in south Louisiana is missing and now authorities are asking if you've seen him.

According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, 10-year-old Gari Hebert was last seen on September 18, 2024, near the 300 block of Malapart Rd. he was wearing a green shirt and multi-colored pants.

The Sheriff's Office in Lafayette has labeled this case as a runaway child that could be endangered.

In the LPSO social media post, Hebert is described as the following: Hair: Brown; Eyes: Brown; Height: 4'11"; Weight: 65lbs
