Food influencer Mr. Chimetime didn’t waste any time finding what he was looking for in Acadiana. His first official stop in the 337 was Glenda’s Creole Kitchen, located at 3232 Main Hwy in Breaux Bridge. And according to his early review, the bar has been set.

From the moment he walked in, he says he was welcomed with “open arms” and told he came to the right place.

And from the way he described that first plate, they weren’t lying.

Chimetime ordered the smothered pork chops, and the moment they hit his taste buds, he was locked in.

“Sensational,” he said.

“Tender, juicy, fall-off-the-bone… the spice and seasoning made me stop several times.”

The smothered chicken delivered the same flavor profile—spicy, juicy, and packed with heat in the best way possible. He also tried the smothered okra with sausage and raved about the smoky, rich flavor.
