Mega Millions Reveals Louisiana Winner in Tuesday’s Drawing

In Louisiana, there were 19 tickets for last night's Mega Millions drawing that garnered a prize of $200 or more. One of those tickets is worth $2,000 and yet another hit it even bigger with a $10,000 win.

Who Won Mega Millions Last Night?

While we don't know names, we do know a little bit about the winning tickets that were sold in both Louisiana and Texas. The Texas winner for $40,000 matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball. The ticket purchaser opted in on the Megaplier, hence the total prize of $40,000. Texas Lottery officials do not release too many details on lottery winners.

In Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Lottery, there was a $10,000 winner sold in the state. That ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball too but the ticket purchaser did not opt in for the Megaplier.  Lottery officials in Louisiana say the $10,000 winner was sold in Belle Chase at State Oil Fuel on Highway 23.

The Louisiana ticket was one of 23 $10,000 winners sold across the Mega Millions footprint for last night's game. The Texas Lottery winner was one of three $40,000 winners sold across the platform.  There was no ticket sold that matched the numbers needed to claim the game's top prize of $ 260 million last night. The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing will be an estimated $281 million dollars.
