Louisiana Travelers, Want to Go on a Nude Cruise?
If you're from Louisiana and love getting on a ship for vacation, chances are you cruise out of Galveston, New Orleans, or even Mobile.
But, if you want to pack light (we're talking really light), then maybe a trip out of a Florida port would be better for you.
Let's say, Miami in February for a nude cruise?
Yep, you read that right. Cruise passengers will have the chance to bare it all on the "Big Nude Boat," which will set sail from Miami on a 10-day voyage to the Caribbean in 2025.
A company called Bare Necessities Tour & Travel will be taking over the Norwegian Pearl from Feb. 3 to Feb. 14 of next year. Nude passengers will visit the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Dominica, Martinique, and St. Lucia.
Pack Light...But You'll Still Have to Bring Some Things
While most of the trip will be clothes-free, you must adhere to "proper nudist etiquette." You'll have to follow some rules involving clothing such as wearing it in the inside dining rooms.
A message on the Bare Necessities Tour & Travel website reads:
When the ship is at sea or anchored in a port, passengers can be nude unless announcements have been made to the contrary. When the ship is docked alongside in port, all passengers must be dressed throughout the entire vessel, including balconies, until the ship leaves port and an announcement is made that nudity is again permissible.
Guests will also be encouraged to sit on towels when they have nothing covering their tushy or wearing a thong in their stateroom, pool deck, and buffet area.
No Amateur Photographers Allowed
While we live in a social media world, don't think you'll get much for the 'Gram. Passengers won't be allowed to take photos and videos of anyone aboard the ship without their consent (no matter if they've got clothes on or not.)
"No photo zones" will be placed throughout the Big Nude Boat, according to the travel company.
Decorum People, Decorum (This IS a classy ship!)
There will be no fondling or inappropriate touching on the Big Nude Boat. Lingerie and fetish wear are also not allowed.
Anyone who fails to comply with the required etiquette and decorum will be invited to leave the cruise.
Pricing
In doing extensive research (or simply checking out the ship's pricing page), we've found that the cheapest cabin will run you $2,000 per person (based on double occupancy.)
The fanciest cabin is the "Haven 3-Bedroom Garden Villa" which will set you back $33,155.
Oh, imagine the stories that will come out of this swinging pad.
Ready to Book?
If you've made it this far, you might must be really interested in going on the Big Nude Boat.
