The next Household Hazardous Waste Day, hosted by Lafayette Consolidated Government, will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cajun Field (enter from West Congress Street).

This is an opportunity for residents to get rid of household chemicals that are dangerous to dispose of down drains, in trash carts, and in recycling carts. Electronics will not be accepted on this day.

As usual, this event is for residents of the City of Lafayette and unincorporated areas only. Bring a picture ID to show proof of residency.
