Sure, we all like to complain, especially this time of year when living in Louisiana is like living on the surface of the sun, but this is really a great place to make your home! I obviously think so because this is my third time living here and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon!

There are so many wonderful things to say about the bayou state. Southern hospitality is a way of life and our Faith is strong. Our doors are always open and we're generous to a fault. Plus, it's actually pretty affordable to live here. Add in all of the gorgeous historic architecture and bountiful festivals held year-round across the state and there's always something to do.

Don't forget that Louisiana is a food lover's paradise in addition to being the 'Sportsman's Paradise.' Because of the demographics of our state, we're rich in both the arts and culture. How could our lifestyle be anything but with the amount of diversity Louisiana boasts? When you take into account our love of all things LSU, especially their sports programs, Mardi Gras, and Louisiana's natural beauty and you already have a solid case for making 'tha boot' home.
