It’s The Last Season, And American Idol Is (Finally) Watchable

Okay, wait a minute:  before you dismiss this post because of the title, hear me out.
I enjoyed the first, and part of the second season of American Idol.  After that, aside from a few staff changes, I felt that it was same 'ol same 'ol.

This season is different.  The vignettes between the performers are funny.  The behind-the-scenes actions of the judges are being shown more.  The memes that are being created from some of the performances really have my attention.

I watched most of last night's performances, and I am halfway through tonight's episode, and I must say that, for their final season, I think that they are going to see an increase in ratings.

I just watched 3 more auditions, and there are some extremely talented people who are going to be on this season.
