An Idaho police officer who felt the joy of going viral for a video he posted last week is now dealing with backlash for the very same clip.

Deputy Nate Silvester works for the Bellvue Marshal's Office and millions of people watched his TikTok video that mocked Los Angeles Laker star, LeBron James, for a tweet he posted in the wake of the fatal officer-involved shooting of Ma'Kahia Bryant in Ohio.

Silvester's video shows him pretending to be on a phone call with LeBron James while one imaginary Black man stabs another Black man.

So you don't care if a Black person kills another Black person, But you do care if a white cop kills a Black person, even if he's doing it to save the life of another Black person? I mean it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but then again you are really good at basketball so I guess I'll take your word for it.

Over 4 million people viewed Silvester's TikTok, but his Marshal's Office was not happy with the officer for the attention (and the complaints) he was drawing.

The statements made do NOT represent the Bellevue Marshal's Office. The Bellevue Marshal's Office always demands that our Deputies engage with our citizens in a friendly and professional manner.

According to the Marshal's office, the issue is being "dealt with internally" and while there is no official word, multiple reports suggest that Silvester has been suspended without pay.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the officer that has raised nearly $200,000 but Silvester posted that he wants to shift the focus from him to "the bigger picture."

Silvester plans on using the funds to create content to shine a light on officers who deal with "attacks" from the media and celebrities in similar situations and to shed a positive light by "humanizing the badge."
