I – 10 And Louisiana Avenue Lane Closures This Week

Expect delays on I - 10 this week due to construction to lane widening.

From Monday, August 14 through Sunday, August 20, the westbound left lane of I-10, from the Vermilion Bridge to the Louisiana Avenue Bridge will be closed for widening work from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

On Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18, the north and southbound lanes of Louisiana Avenue will be closed under the I-10 overpass for widening construction over Louisiana Avenue.

The closure is estimated to take place nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Detour routes for northbound and southbound traffic on Louisiana Avenues:

Northbound: Take I-10 eastbound to LA 328, then back to I-10 westbound to continue north on Louisiana Avenue.

Southbound: Take I-10 westbound to I-49, then back to I-10 eastbound to Louisiana Avenue to continue south.
