Hospice of Acadiana begins accepting donations for its Annual Thrift Sale this Friday, June 24th. Donations will be accepted on Fridays from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at Hospice of Acadiana’s office at 2600 Johnston Street in Lafayette.

HOA kindly asks that you do not bring donations during other days of the week to keep daily operations running smoothly and to ensure that patients and families continue to come first,

Items needed this year include baby items, toys, china, crystal, collectibles, Christmas and Mardi Gras décor, garden and outdoor items, home décor, jewelry and boutique items, kitchen items, small appliances, lamps, rugs, linens and bath items, small furniture, and wall art. Clothing, electronics, exercise equipment, large or upholstered furniture pieces, luggage, purses, shoes, or sporting goods will not be accepted this year.

All proceeds support Acadiana’s only nonprofit hospice, which offers a variety of free community programs, including Pet Peace of Mind, which provides care to patient’s pets.

HOA provides educational programs on health issues, end-of-life planning, and hospice and palliative care on a continuous basis free of charge to the Acadiana community.
