Hospice Of Acadiana 5K Memorial Run & 1 Mile Walk is March 27

The 3rd annual Hit the Road with Hospice of Acadiana 5K Memorial Run & 1 Mile Walk is happening Saturday, March 27th at 8 am. It will be held at the Hospice of Acadiana office located at 2600 Johnston Street in Lafayette.  You’re invited to join in on the fun and help a great cause in our community. They’ll kick off the Hospice of Acadiana’s annual spring raffle by selling tickets after the race.

The registration fee for the 5K is $25 and $20 for the 1-Mile Walk. If you register before March 14, 2021 you are guaranteed a race t-shirt and a memorial sign.  All others can be picked up after race day. Awards will be given for Overall and Age Group.

This is a day to remember a loved one you’ve lost so feel free to make signs or shirts to honor them.

Hospice of Acadiana is the only nonprofit hospice in our area and have served over 24,000 patients and their families. Hospice of Acadiana also provides free grief counseling to anyone in need in the community, even if your loved one was with another hospice, or wasn’t a hospice patient at all. The proceeds from this event help to cover the cost of unreimbursed care and support services they provide to terminal patients and their families.
