Help The Pride Of Acadiana Get To NYC

The UL Lafayette Marching Band will be the only marching band from Louisiana in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This will be The Pride Of Acadiana's second appearance. The first was in 2005.

It's unusual for a band to receive a second invitation so soon.

"To return to New York City to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a huge honor for our band. It shows the amount of dedication, and hard work, and exemplary performance that they display at each football game. For us to go back this soon after going the first time is just a wonderful testament to their hard work."              - Dr. Brian Taylor

The trip will be expensive. Each student needs $1,500.00 to cover costs. some are having difficulty raising it.
