Many people believe sex is something to be wary of after a heart attack. That's apparently not the case. The New York Post reports, a long term study of more than 1100 people indicates frequent sexual activity actually increases life expectancy after a heart attack. Heart attack victims were tracked from 1992-2015. Nearly half (524) had died. Survivors who had sex more than once a week were 27% less likely to die. Those who had sex once a week experienced a 12% greater survival rate, those who rarely had sex experienced only an 8% increase. It's a long established fact that sex reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and releases endorpins, heightening one's sense of well being. It also promotes prostate health in males.
